You may think frying it with salt and turmeric is weird but I think frying them without is even weirder. But then again, we all cook however WE like the food the taste like. Maybe too many javanese in malaysia (especially in Johor) now that its become Malaysian LOL<BR/><BR/>Sorry..am javanese on both sides so I grew up with TERONG masak sambal and Pecel Lele.<BR/><BR/>Its a bit weird to be puting the tumeric though (we just simplay fry them as it is) and no salt during frying as the sambal itself will be enough salt.<BR/><BR/>The sambal here looks more like chilli sauce..not too familiar with the looks.
