Phyllis, yes we both use diff quantities. I use the one that gives me the right texture and taste and while, hers. ;) Oh my. You use pandan paste for your nasi lemak? lol. You're too funny. You can get pandan leaves in the frozen aisle or just don't use it. I don't put any in mine if i cant find the leaves.

Oooh, I was waiting for this recipe, but I noticed the quantities are slightly different that what's posted on MamFami's site(?) Maybe I'll try both recipes since this cake is so easy to make :)

I just checked my fridge and found that I still have the tiny bottle of pandan paste (phew!) that I 'smuggled' into the country last year (courtesy of my uncle in Kuching - and yes I am from Kuching, born there, can't speak more than 2 words of Malay, had to have my dad translate the simple msg you left on my blog - haha)
I also have McCormick pandan essence and a can of pandan juice in my pantry, but I wish I could find fresh pandan leaves in the US. The last time I used the pandan paste was to make nasi lemak and I remember my American born hubby asking me why the coconut rice was bright green!
